SUMMER EVENTS AT ROCCA. CONTAMINATIONS BETWEEN PAST AND FUTURE

The programm of summer events at Rocca Roveresca kicks off on Saturday 18 July 2020 enriched with voices and colors in a continuous dialogue between ancient and contemporary to get to know, relive and have fun with our past and at the same time reflect on our future.

The first news is the extraordinary evening opening on fridays and saturdays in July and August when the monument will be open until 11.45 pm, with an appendix on the first weekend of September on the occasion of Il Solenne Ingresso, an event organized by the Association L’Estetica dell’Effimero that celebrates the arrival in Senigallia in 1479 of its new Dukes Giovanni Della Rovere and Giovanna da Montefeltro after their wedding in Rome.

Dates of La Cerqua dai frutti d’oro are back for the third year and will allow you to participate in immersive animated visits to Renaissance life with the characters of the Della Rovere court, to play with the escape room inside the fortress, to discover in detail the history and architecture of the monument thanks to the guided visits made by the Rocca staff with reservation.

The Acqua-Our Water Our Future exhibition opens on 26 July; especially interesting for children and teenagers, it can be visited interactively, accompanied by specialized operators. A Next Association project in partnership with the Polytechnic University of the Marche and the Marche Museum Regional Directorate of MiBACT and with the grant of Cariverona Foundation and Vivaservizi spa.

Music is the protagonist on 12 August at 9 pm: the courtyard of the Rocca will host Alla ricerca del vello d’oro by the Associazione Musica Antica e Contemporanea. Music and direction Roberta Silvestrini, storytellers Alessio Messersì, Mauro Pierfederici and Anna Annibali, flute Elena Solai, horn Luca Delpriori, percussion Giacomo Sebastianelli and harp Irene Piazzai.
